I can’t believe I’m actually saying this, but every now and then I actually make it a thing to attempt to doing lineless (or just digital painting in general) when I get the chance, because I tend to worry about getting rusty and whatnot, LOL. :’D

And given how I’m such a sadist even to myself, my first “proper” digital painting (because calling it “lineless” isn’t enough apparently? I mean, I guess people tend to also call it digital painting as well given how it’s like you need to do thorough blending of colors like you would in painting traditionally) involves me trying (major emphasis on trying) to paint F E A T H E R E D wings.
Not to say I haven’t tried doing the digital painting take on wings, mind you. I’ve tried drawing (painting, rather) wings in the past—the angel wing variety kind—but in the end, they mostly end up like chicken wings and I pretty much got fed up with it, so I did a loooooot of staring at bird wings (not saying chickens aren’t birds, but I wanted to study wings of birds that fly since that’s where angelic wings are based on and I wanted to get the hang of those terminologies such as the flight feathers, and whatnot). :U

Not only that, Fuchsia can’t be a proper Yoshi without the “Super Dragon” move, right? :iconyoshitrollplz: (Funny thing is, why is the move called “Super Dragon” but it gives you bird wings instead of…well…dragon-like wings? :shrug: I’m pretty sure if the wings were faithful of the move’s name, I’d probably have a hella easy time. :lol: )
Of course, there’s also adding more cooking oil to the self-torture pan by drawing more feathers all over the place, haha. :XD: I guess I just really wanted to see if I can get the hang of it(?)

I am not 100% satisfied with the way I painted the left wing (the folded one covering Fuchsia), but I am quite proud of that one feather on top of her. :’3 I guess I’ll keep working on it, eeehhh.

And for the record, when my tagline said, “Dem wings,” I was referring to pretty much any drawing that’ll be featuring wings—first being this and the next being…???

Ooh so :iconididplz: that's-! *Reads all the way to the end...* ...DANGIT I SOoo thought this was the famous 'dem wings' pic you were 'referring' to Buddy! :doh::XD: But I guess all this time you were referencing more than one pic! :iconlegaspplz:


But that aside.....OMGOooooooooooooSH BUDDY that lineless looks so EPIC!!! :iconexciteddummyplz: IT MUST'VE TAKEN FOREVER!!! :faint: And don't get me started on my amazement on LINELESS WINGS! faint

As for the 'Dragon' part Buddy, I do recall Yoshi 'apparently' calls himself as a 'Space Dragon' in Super Mario Galaxy 2...Though I'm not 100% sure if it's true, because I suck at Super Mario Galaxy 2 and couldn't investigate the 'sign' that is supposedly in the game...:shrug: (But a lot of people seem to claim that it exists so...:icondontunderstandplz: )
